A PDF copy of the presentation slides is available at the bottom of the page.
A look at PASRR’s past and its future. Since the passage of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987, over thirty years ago, PASRR has become a critical part of the health care continuum and a driver of excellence in person-centered practices and individualized plans of care. This webinar will look back at pivotal moments in PASRR’s history, look at how PASRR implementation has changed over time, and consider important changes going forward. From practices to lessons learned to industry standards, states have played a major role in PASRR’s continuing success.
Frank L. Tetrick joined PTAC in 2011, bringing more than 32 years of experience in direct and administrative service within the Commonwealth of Virginia behavioral health and developmental services system.
From 2003 to 2011, Frank served as Assistant Commissioner for the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS), where he was responsible for leadership of offices that funded and monitored community services supported with state, federal, or grant funds. Frank served as a consultant to the Virginia Office of the State Inspector General from 2011 until July 2016, with an emphasis on monitoring services provided by, or licensed by the state behavioral health and developmental disabilities authority. Since joining PTAC Frank has taken an active role in helping advance the understanding and implementation of specialized services and promoting collaboration amongst PASRR stakeholders.
