Synopsis of the Topic
Led by Pam Raby, the October PASRR webinar "Person-Centered PASRR" focused on important components of PASRR that may be lost in the shuffle of complex rules and competing demands. PASRR was, in fact, well ahead of its time in terms of offering a progressive initiative for promoting the most effective and best possible quality of care for our most vulnerable citizens. This presentation will revisit progressive PASRR requirements and map them to conventional practices for Person-Centered assessment and planning.
Ms. Pam Raby has over 23 years of extensive experience in providing consultation for PASRR and related assessment programs with a specific emphasis on promoting best practices in assessment and treatment for persons with disabilities. Of her many accomplishments, Ms. Raby has authored and been awarded approximately $20 million in funding for research grants specifically to develop and implement integrated evidence-based and standards-based practices of care for persons with a variety of disabilities. Ms. Raby is also a consultant for the PASRR Technical Assistance Center (PTAC).
