This webinar focuses on how electronic systems can be leveraged for the administration and effective oversight of a state Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) program. 

Key objectives for this webinar include: 

• Understanding the federal law and regulations that define the state’s responsibility for PASRR; 

• Understanding how key data points for an electronic PASRR system can help states fulfill those responsibilities;

• Learning about CMS’s Advanced Planning Document (APD) process for developing and deploying an electronic PASRR system; and 

• Learning about Kansas’s experience in standing up an electronic PASRR system.
