PASRR regulations include requirements for written notices of determination and evaluation reports to be produced as a part of the assessment process. The notices of determination and evaluation reports must include specific information about the outcomes of the evaluation, the person’s disability, and the necessary services and supports needed. Additionally, these written documents must be disseminated to specific entities. This webinar will review the regulations regarding PASRR notifications and help PASRR stakeholders understand requirements for achieving compliance with the written determination and notice process. Additionally, the webinar will explore strategies for creating effective, person-centered notices that have the potential to lead to positive outcomes for the individuals assessed.

Speakers:

Pam Raby

Pam Raby serves as Senior Vice President and Consultant for Ascend, a national provider of healthcare management and PASRR services. Since 1990, Pam has provided consultation to numerous state government agencies in implementation of PASRR and Long-Term Care initiatives, including strategies for designing workflow, technology infrastructure, reporting considerations, and quality indicators. Pam has over 30 years of experience providing national consulting, multi-level policy development, and oversight of both managed care and treatment services.

Andrea Womack

Andrea Womack has over 11 years of experience in PASRR program design, implementation, operations, and quality measurement. She is currently Director of Operations for Ascend, the PASRR vendor for eight states. In her current position, Andrea oversees implementation and daily operations for multiple PASRR state projects, helping states to achieve PASRR compliance and implement practices that make a difference for individuals with disabilities. In previous roles with Ascend, she had oversight of contract and regulatory compliance, recruiting and credentialing of PASRR assessors, assessment processes, and internal and external trainings.
