Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) Program Oversight Best Practices

This webinar is intended for state employees responsible for the administration of the Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) program. This webinar will focus on PASRR program oversight, including federal requirements and state best practices.

Key objectives for this webinar include:

- Understanding the importance of PASRR program oversight to ensure adherence to federal requirements, practicing continuous program improvement, and achieving PASRR program goals;

- Learning the minimum requirements for PASRR oversight outlined in federal laws and regulations;

- Reviewing a number of best practices for PASRR program oversight, including opportunities for oversight and improvement based on historical learning by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and CMS PASRR Technical Assistance Center (PTAC); and

- Learning from Delaware about how they conduct PASRR program oversight and the best practices they’ve implemented.
