PASRR Annual Reports: Understanding Federal Reporting Requirements
This webinar is intended for state employees responsible for the administration of the Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) program and focuses on the federal requirements for the PASRR Annual Report. Key objectives for this webinar include:
• Understanding the Social Security Act requirements for the PASRR Annual Report;
• Learning Code of Federal Regulations linkages for annual report requirements;
• Understanding the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) technical assistance about statutory language requiring states to report on the number and disposition of nursing facility (NF) PASRR residents no longer needing NF services;
• Accessing reporting scenarios informed by state reports submitted to CMS in 2024; and
• Reviewing state options for submitting key reporting details.
